Ang Thong: Marine Park Full-Day Kayaking & Snorkeling Tour
Discover the picture-perfect scenery to the northwest of Koh Samui. Embark on a guided boat trip to Ang Thong Marine Park and explore dozens of deserted beaches, bizarre rock formations, and calm blue waters. Kayak and snorkel your way through beautiful islands and islets. Be collected from your hotel and transferred to the Nathon pier. Meet your guide and the team, who will welcome you onboard the boat. Enjoy a light breakfast as your guide gives a briefing on the day’s activities while familiarizing you with the boat’s features. Visit Koh Tai Plao, the best location for kayaking, with amazing rock overhangs, tunnels, small caves, and a hidden lagoon to explore. Hop onto your kayak and grab a dry bag so you can take your camera with you. Take a dip in the inviting calm waters. Snorkel, swim, or jump from the boat. Enjoy a great lunch on board as you cruise through the park, heading to the second stop at Koh Mae Ko. Admire the island with a relatively short but quite steep climb to a viewing platform, where you’ll witness the breathtaking sight of the Emerald Lake. Finally, stop at the main island of Koh Wua Talap. Explore this area by kayak and circumnavigate the small adjacent island then return and relax on the beach. Alternatively, make the climb to the viewpoint where you will be rewarded with an amazing vista of the entire park. If you wish to, you can trek to the stunning Bua Bok Cave instead, and take in its monumental stalagmites and stalactites. For those who prefer to simply relax, the pristine beach here is a great spot to get some sun or find shade under one of the many palm trees. Head back to Koh Samui, while feasting on fresh fruit and a snack while you relax on the journey home.
